About Speculoos syrup
Speculoos syrup is the perfect accompaniment to coffee, and speculoos biscuits are everywhere. This is why we provide Sweetbird’s Speculoos syrup which has incorporated this distinctive taste into a syrup, inspired by traditional Dutch speculaas biscuits.
Traditionally baked for St Nicholas’ Day, or Christmas in Germany and Austria, speculaas biscuits are thin, crunchy, caramelised, slightly browned, and often have an image stamped on the front.
This syrup works really well in a cinnamon roll latte, cheesecake frappé and of course our Spooky Speculoos Halloween Hot Chocolate.
