Speculoos syrup makes the perfect accompaniment to coffee and is inspired by the traditional Dutch Speculaas biscuits, which are traditionally baked for St Nicholas’ Day, or Christmas in Germany and Austria.

Typically found served on the side of your coffee, these spiced shortcrust biscuits have inspired this latest syrup which boasts flavours of caramelized sugar and caramelised biscuit with real cinnamon spice.

This syrup works perfectly in hot chocolate, a Cinnamon Roll latte or it can be used to make the ultimate Lime Cheesecake frappé too.

Cinnamon Roll Latte

Ingredients:

  • Double espresso
  • Cinnamon syrup
  • Speculoos syrup
  • Steamed milk

Instructions:

  1. Combine the espresso with 1 pump of each syrup in a cup
  2. Top with steamed milk, stirring as you pour

Speculoos Mocha

Ingredients:

  • Speculoos syrup
  • Hot Chocolate powder
  • Double espresso
  • Steamed milk

Instructions:

  1. Combine 2 pumps of syrup, 1 scoop of hot chocolate and double espresso in a cup then mix to a smooth paste.
  2. Top up with steamed milk, stirring as you pour
  3. Dust with chocolate before serving
